Therapeutic Activity Support Volunteer (Airedale Centre for Mental Health, Keighley)
As a Therapeutic Activity Support Volunteer, you'll help staff lead diverse therapeutic, physical, and recreational activities on acute wards. These activities, tailored to various interests and abilities, aim to encourage service users to engage in meaningful pursuits, enhancing their daily structure and overall well-being. Staff supervision will be provided during activities.
This role is based at Airedale Centre for Mental Health and you will have regular contact with service users within an inpatient environment. We seek Volunteers available for a minimum of 2-3 hours weekly on weekdays.
If you are selected, you are required to complete online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction modules and you are required to attend the following:

Volunteer Welcome Workshop . Please attend one of the following in Saltaire: Monday 24 June 12.00 – 2.30 Monday 29 July 10.00 – 12.30 Friday 30 August 10.00 – 12.30

Infection Prevention Training 1st August – 2.00 pm – 3.30 pm (Online)

Breakaway training - Monday 29th July 1PM- 4pm (Saltaire)
These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
