Library Volunteer (Lynfield Mount Hospital)

As a Library Volunteer at Lynfield Mount Hospital, you will support the Library Service to champion reading; raising awareness of its benefits and encouraging service users to access BDCFT's library resources.

This role is based at Lynfield Mount Hospital and you will come into regular contact with service users in hospital. We are looking for someone who can give a minimum of one morning or afternoon per week.

As well as the completion of the online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction, you are required to attend: • Volunteer Welcome Workshop 1pm – 3.30 PM on Monday 25th March or 10am-12.30pm on Friday 5th April in Saltaire • Infection Prevention training 14th March, online. • Breakaway training, which will be held from 1-4pm on Friday 5th April in Saltaire.

These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
