Music Session Volunteer (Airedale Centre for Mental Health, Keighley)

As a Music Session Volunteer you will help support nursing staff in engaging with service users by using Music Sessions to aid recovery and enhance their rehabilitation experience and wellbeing.

You will help develop service users’ knowledge, skills and understanding of music and musical instruments.

This role will come into regular contact with service users and will be based at Airedale Centre for Mental Health.

As well as the completion of the online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction, you are required to attend:

• Volunteer Welcome Workshop 1pm – 3.30 PM on Monday 25th March or 10am-12.30pm on Friday 5th April in Saltaire

• Infection Prevention training 2pm on Thursday 14th March online.

• Breakaway training, which will be held from 1-4pm on Friday 5th April in Saltaire.

These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
