We have opportunities for volunteers to assist in the day-to-day running of the Pop-up Coffee Shop based at Airedale Centre for Mental Health. The Pop-up Coffee Shop has been set up to provide service users with skills that are transferable to everyday life once discharged from hospital.

Volunteers will be serving hot and cold beverages and light refreshments/snacks to service users, visitors, guests, and staff members. Whilst previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided.

This role is based at Airedale Centre for Mental Health and you will have regular contact with service users within an inpatient environment. We are looking for someone who can give a minimum of 2 hours per week on a week day.

As well as the completion of the online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction, you are required to attend:

o Volunteer Welcome Workshop 10am-12.30pm on Monday 6th November or 1pm- 3.30pm Tuesday 28th November in Saltaire.

o Infection Prevention training 2.30-4pm on Tuesday 5th December, online.

o Breakaway training, which will be held from 1-4pm on Friday 1st December in Saltaire.

These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
