Life Skills Volunteer (Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford)
As a Life Skills Volunteer you will support service users to develop useful life skills such as budgeting and digital skills.
You will be able to deliver this 1:1 or in a group setting.
This role is based at Lynfield Mount Hospital and you will have regular contact with service users in hospital. We are looking for someone who can give a minimum of 2-3 hours per week.
As well as the completion of the online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction, you are required to attend:
• Volunteer Welcome Workshop 10am-12.30pm on Monday 6th November or 1pm- 3.30pm Tuesday 28th November in Saltaire.
• Infection Prevention training 2.30-4pm on Tuesday 5th December, online.
• Breakaway training, which will be held from 1-4pm on Friday 1st December in Saltaire.
These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
