Djembe/African Drumming Volunteer

As a Drumming Group volunteer you will help facilitate a drumming group in the Four Seasons Cafe so that service users can experience the powerful benefits that playing music can have.

This role is based at Lynfield Mount Hospital and you will have regular contact with service users within an mental health unit. We are looking for someone who can give a minimum of 1-2 hours per week.

As well as the completion of the online mandatory BDCFT Volunteer Induction, you are required to attend a face-to-face Volunteer Welcome Workshop which we run on a quarterly basis, in line with our recruitment.

Additionally, for this specific role you will be required to attend the Breakaway training.

These training sessions must be completed for you to be able to progress into your volunteering role, so please make every effort to attend. If you have any problems, please speak with your Volunteer Coordinator.
